What's new on PARA PACEM, newest first.
Upgrade copies share a slot
2026-09-18- The army-wide enhancement limit now counts each enhancement once: an Upgrade bought on three units takes one slot, not three. You still pay its points on every unit. At the limit, another copy of an Upgrade already in the list stays on offer.
Enhancements once, Upgrades thrice
2026-09-17- The army builder now holds each enhancement to once per army, as the rules do — a second unit no longer sees one that is already taken.
- Enhancements with the Upgrade tag — the ones the points list prints as "(Upgrade)" — may be bought up to three times, paid for each time. The picker counts the copies, and a unit carrying one cannot have an Epic Hero attached.
- A list that already breaks either rule says so on the unit, with removal one click away, instead of quietly staying illegal.
The abilities under a heading
2026-09-16- Abilities a sheet prints under their own heading — the Lion's three Primarch of the First Legion abilities, Abaddon's Warmaster auras, Mortarion's, Magnus's and Angron's, an officer's Orders line, a vehicle's transport capacity — now show on the datasheet. They were being read and dropped.
Set the table from the form
2026-09-15- Starting a live spec op now shows the killzone map the moment you pick it, so the terrain can go down while the form is still open. The Location box is gone from both spec op forms — the map is the where that matters.
- Strategy ploys and firefight ploys are told apart by colour — blue and amber — in the tracker and on the kill team's page, with the kind written on each ploy too.
Fight for the world you are looking at
2026-09-15- A planet's readout on the galaxy map now offers every way to fight over it — a quick battle, a campaign battle for each campaign you are in, a spec op — with the planet already picked on the form it opens.
- The spec ops page lists your kill teams the way the war room does — operatives against the team rule, leader, archetypes — so the Build button no longer reads as if you had none.
- On a phone, tapping a planet keeps you on the map with its readout, instead of jumping to the activity feed.
- The welcome tour stops at Spec Ops, and its Galaxy and Campaigns stops mention fighting from the map.
A codex lands cleanly
2026-09-10- Stratagems now come straight from the source instead of being typed in by hand, and rules text a codex rewrites is refreshed on its own schedule — so a new book reaches the tracker without waiting on a transcription.
- The data library says what changed about a detachment — cost, mission type, rules, enhancements — not only what changed about a unit.
- An enhancement that is a weapon shows its profile: in the detachment popover, on the unit card, in the picker preview and in the opponent's view. It goes to Tabletop Simulator as a real gun on the model that took it.
- The catalogue stops offering things no one can field — retired units, stray models, duplicate chapter sheets — and every unit it offers has a price.
- A chapter's price reads the way the app reads it, so a redundant override being tidied away no longer shows as a unit that lost its cost.
- Creating an army, importing a roster and logging a game all open in the console, like the rest of the app.
The console reaches everywhere
2026-09-02- A core rules reference in the live tracker: opens on the phase on the clock, and searches by name, rule number or wording.
- The navigation, battle setup, the pre-battle wizard, the post-battle draws and the battle report all read as console windows.
- A battle in progress is one tap away from any page — an amber chip in the header, and a Resume button on the galaxy map.
- The galaxy map takes the whole width, its readout sits on the map itself, and the log lays each battle out on a single line.
- Every page boots a small terminal while it loads, instead of a spinning mark or a grey skeleton.
Take your list to the virtual table
2026-09-01- Any army you can open — your own or a friend's — now exports to Tabletop Simulator. One button gives you a Yellowscribe code to paste into the TTS table.
- Models are armed individually, so your sergeant arrives holding the power fist instead of the whole squad sharing one.
- The export tells you before it sends, says the code is temporary, and names anything it had to leave out.
The console comes to the bridge
2026-08-20- The army builder reads as a console: army rule, detachments, roster sections and the unit catalog all sit behind terminal chrome.
- Severity is a colour — muster-check warnings amber, flagged lists red, detachments violet — and every figure inside keeps its own colour code.
- The duplicate cost box is gone. The bar at the top of the builder is the one points readout, and it moves the instant you click.
- Unit abilities fold away, so a long card is a card again.
- Patrons are named on the dashboard, and the galaxy feed boots like a terminal log.
- The decode effect no longer strobes or shifts text sideways as it resolves.
- Android can install PARA PACEM as an app again.
Winning by more is worth more
2026-08-19- Influence now scales with the margin of victory — a crushing win moves the galaxy further than a squeaker.
- The data library says what the last content update actually changed, unit by unit.
Bring a list in from BattleScribe
2026-08-17- Import an army list from BattleScribe instead of rebuilding it by hand.
- Admins can mint badges by hand, or define a rule that awards them.
- Content updates sync in batches, so a data refresh no longer crawls.
A builder that keeps up
2026-08-14- The army builder no longer times out on large factions — and anything that does fail says so instead of hanging.
- Every model in a squad can carry its own weapon.
- Units are priced by the bracket their model count falls in, and additions show as pending until they commit.
- Both army lists are visible at the deploy step, and enhancements count against the cap.
- Legends units are marked and hidden by default.
- Invulnerable saves are back in the statline.
- Every player gets their own colour, used the same way everywhere.
Datasheets rebuilt from the source
2026-08-12- Datasheet import now follows the catalogue's own selection tree: nested choices, squad upgrades, shared wargear groups and per-model budgets all come through.
- Wargear options are scoped to the models that actually carry them, and a leader can be equipped without disarming the squad.
- An equipment choice is a choice again, not three always-on abilities.
- Detachment rules, enhancement text and stratagems are pulled straight from the catalogue.
- Lists that look incomplete or non-conform are flagged, in the builder and in battle.
- A tied battle scores as a draw.
- The galaxy map has a phone layout.
Campaigns for a table full of people
2026-08-09- The battle tracker has a phone layout, and a team pools its command points.
- A stratagem can be used for no command points.
- Campaign cards show as cards in the tracker, and are assigned once per member rather than once per slot.
- A team says which of its members attempts an agenda.
- The post-battle draws are asked for when a campaign battle ends.
- Achievements, game deletion, commander portraits, and choosing your username at signup.
Community data, and the galaxy opens up
2026-07-29- Community data updates run on a pipeline, with a summary of what each one changed — down to individual points values.
- Public battle reports, alliance-owned planets and planet history on the galaxy map.
- Friend profiles, and undo for a battle result.
- Install PARA PACEM on Android.
- A brand identity of its own: the laurel-wreathed black hole.
Dominatus campaigns
2026-07-13- The full Dominatus campaign lifecycle, bespoke missions, and a guided campaign UI.
- Report a data error on any datasheet — admin fixes survive the next content sync.
- Quick Battle and Campaign read as the different things they are.
